Chauffeur Hire

Thu ,25/02/2010

Chauffeur hire is more popular today than it ever has been and if you want to feel like royalty for the day then you should try it, just don’t call the driver Jeeves.  For the extremely busy people out there, some of the top companies offer car hire services with a chauffeur and conference seating which enables you to hold in-car meetings between your destinations. Some things to watch out for are hidden mileage charges and minimum booking times and ensure you get a good hourly rate. Some of the services companies offer are airport runs and VIP services, so if you are off to Ascot or Twickenham turning up in a prestige chauffeur driven car will certainly make your day and/or evening a little more special and get you noticed.

Air Conditioning

Wed ,24/02/2010

Air conditioning can offer so many more benefits than just temperature control and as hay fever season approaches it’s worth looking into air conditioning air purifiers. They can help in the control of pollen and dramatically improve the quality of your indoor air condition. It works by removing the high concentration of pollen from your indoor air by capturing pollen particles in the filter matter also having a dehumidifier in the home can prevent against mould particles which is also a major trigger of hay fever.

Bring back capital punishment

Tue ,23/02/2010

Why do we waste time and money housing criminals, the majority of which are a waste of space and will never reform and settle into normal society.  The UK is one of the softest countries when it comes to criminals, in fact the UK is harder on the victims than the criminals as its the victims that get screwed over and lose out while the criminal sits in a plush prison cell with all all the help support and facilities they require.

Bad SEO

Mon ,22/02/2010

If you search the internet these days for a web designer most of them will make some claim to being an SEO expert and offer all sorts of promises of getting your site to number 1 in the major search engines. Choosing an SEO company is something you should be very cautious of, especially if they are making broad claim as some of these companies can do more damage than good by using black hat techniques which will ultimately get you kicked out of the search results. Some of these bad tactics have recently been experienced by the diy store Homebase.  There developers/SEO ‘experts’ (used very loosely) have used a lot of techniques to try and fool Google and have dropped dramatically for terms like ‘kitchens’ and ‘furniture’.

Housewares

Thu ,18/02/2010

Houseware comes in all shapes and sizes but one of the most popular is the common old mug. We all have our favourite and get a little narky is someone else uses it. The mug has been around since the stone age and the first coffee mugs were made out of wood. Britain actually banned coffee in 1748 and everything associated with it, which included the mug, this led to a shortage of mugs and a black market in them.

The Winning Ticket

Wed ,17/02/2010

With more and more people spending a couple of quid on the lottery in the desperate hope of getting out of financial hardship, the payouts are getting bigger and bigger. A very lucky couple have just won £56 million pounds on the euro lottery and fair play to them, I hope it does bring long term happiness to them. The question is, should a single couple win this amount of money. Surely it would be better to have 56 draws, thus creating 56 millionaires and 56 very happy people.

Baby Names

Wed ,17/02/2010

After months of trying to get pregnant and finally succeeding, the next big issue is baby names. Do you stick with good old traditional Christian names or do you go all modern. It can be one of the hardest things to do and cause a few arguments between you and your partner. Some of the things you need to consider when choosing your baby names are how they can be shortened and if you decide on a middle name you need to consider what the initials would be as you don’t want Geoffrey Ian Thompson (G.I.T) as they would get hammered at school.

Barclays hits £11.6bn

Tue ,16/02/2010

It would seem that certain banks are still profiteering during these hard times when everyone else is struggling and tightening their belts, including the government.  Barclays have just announced that their profits have nearly doubled to £11.6bn and paying out average bonuses of £95.000. But don’t worry just to make us all feel better chief executive John Varley and president Bob Diamond have both declined their bonuses for a second year, however the bank are still paying out a staggering £1.5bn in bonuses, plus a further £1.2bn in long-term bonuses, to be paid over three years.

Politicians hate Britain

Mon ,15/02/2010

Between 1939 and 1945 around *383,667 UK and crown military personal died during the second would war, protecting this country, its people and preserving the British way of life.  Each year we commemorate the fallen souls of both world war I and II and remember some of the atrocities, we all have members in our family tree’s who have fought and died in the conflicts. Yet despite all this why is it that the British government is so intent on giving away our country and seeing our cultural disappear. Do politicians hate our country, it would seem so. Today’s politicians are nothing but greedy wasters trying to line their own pockets and get a good deal when they leave politics. They have no interest in our country or its British people and are happy to see our culture and way of life disappear forever. We don’t need to be part of Europe for anything other than trade and it is not in the best interest of the UK to join the Euro or any European constitutions or tax harmonisation.
