So ways to save money are to order your certificates from the UK government site and not private on-line services, just use them to get the GRO numbers. Sites such as Ancestry offer a 14 day free trial, but there is nothing to say how many times you can sign-up for the free trial, just remember to cancel your subscription on the last day.

One of the first challenges that faces every family historian when they first start to research there family history is where to begin. The best person two start with is quiet simply yourself but before you start you need to find yourself a good software package to use, personally I use Family tree builder from MyHeritage.com, its FREE and very easy to use but does not hold back on the features.
